Los Angeles County Air Show Is Looking For Volunteers
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 16, 2018) – The Los Angeles County Air Show, presented by Lockheed Martin, will hold a volunteer information meeting for the March 24-25 Air Show at the Learn 4 Life facility, 177 Holston Ave, Lancaster at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018.
Betty Evans, Volunteer Manager, says “I started out volunteering at the first LA County Air Show five years ago. This is my second year as Volunteer Manager, and definitely one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had!”
Our dedicated volunteers are the foundation of our Show. The LA County Air Show would not be able to carry on without them. We need about 250 volunteers to make our show a success.
Volunteering at the LA County Air Show is a wonderful way to make new friends, see old friends, give back to the community, and volunteering looks great on your resume!
One of the nation’s premier Air Shows, this Show will have a full schedule of world renowned aerobatic performers, skydivers, and warbirds from all over the country. In addition to the attractions in the sky, there are extensive static displays, an iconic Aeronautical Historical Panel, and a hands-on STEM Exhibition, where kids can enjoy robotics and science experiments.
The Air Show will attract tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world, but it still manages to maintain a hometown, personal, family oriented atmosphere.
