World class performers set to headline the 2018 Los Angeles County Air Show
LANCASTER, CA (December 14, 2017) – The Los Angeles County Air Show presented by Lockheed Martin will take place on March 24-25, 2018 at General William J Fox Airfield in Lancaster. The 2018 event will once again host some of the most thrilling aeronautical performers in the world.
The theme of this year’s Show is “First, Fastest and Farthest!” will celebrate the Antelope Valley’s long history of aeronautical contributions, including the celebration of Lockheed Martin’s Skunkworks Program’s 75th year. Once again, the Los Angeles County Air Show is poised to be one the biggest and best Air Shows with an impressive line-up of performers and exhibitions.
“This is our fifth year of being one of the nation’s premier Air Shows, and this year will surely thrill and inspire both young and old alike. We have an excellent mix of performers from all over the country set to perform in the air, and fans will not want to miss our “ground game.” Folks who attend the Show will have the chance to see an extensive static display and meet world renowned pilots up close and personal” said Airboss Ralph Royce.
The Show will feature the Air Combat Command USAF F/A 22 Raptor Demo Team, USMC MV-22 Osprey, Lockheed T-33 Ace Maker, the Red Bull Swoopers and the Red Bull Aerobatic Helicopter, Kent Pietsch in Jelly Belly’s Interstate Cadet, Bill Stein in the state-of-the-art Zivko Edge 540, Chuck Coleman in his Extra 300, Kirby Chambliss with Red Bull Team Chambliss, Jim Peitz Aerosports in his aerobatic F33C Bonanza, Anthony Oshinuga in the Pitts Special S-1, and Jerry Conley with his WWII British jet fighter de Havilland Vampire Jet Display.
